Like the Philippines

No water, shouted Samuel! Dad, no water!

And he was right. No water. The pump broke down. Deja-vue from the Philippines. It just felt familiar. I recalled all droughts but also when we where flooded and were out of drinking water.

Collected buckets and went off to the nearest water station: the parish house in Västra Harg. You don’t understand how important water is for your life until you lose it.
It’s hard, it is really hard to be without water.

I almost prefer the constant black/brown-outs and electrical failures we had in the Philippines rather than being without water.
Water is life.

God give us our daily bread,
and our daily water.
